Mason Partman
Social Justice Peer Educator
Bio: My name is Mason Partman. I was born in Seattle, Washington in 1986 and was raised just south of the city proper by SeaTac airport. I graduated from high school in 2005, did some community college and generally had no clue as to what I wanted to do with life outside of writing and some vague sense of justice. I ended up doing a four-year stint in the Marine Corps from 2008 to 2012, deploying twice to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. On getting out of the Marine Corps I had to work through PTSD, depression, anxiety, and alcoholism before finishing my Associates of Arts degree with the goal of being a lawyer and studying philosophy firmly in mind. I’m at WSU to pursue my BA in Philosophy Pre-Law. Currently I am a member of Mock Trial Team and am enrolled in the Honors College.
