Bio: As Coordinator for the Office of Outreach and Education, Heather provides fiscal and administrative support for Outreach and Education, manages the historical Culture and Heritage Houses, and provides scheduling and operations support for the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center. Her work includes controlling program operations, including the allocation of resources to meet program related needs. Heather is a proud native of Latah County, Idaho and has been at WSU since January 2013. She has two kids and two grandsons. After making a living as a hair designer for 15+ years, Heather felt like she needed a career change. After working at the University of Idaho for 5 years in the Undergraduate Admissions Office, and a 7 year span of running an in-home childcare center, she came to work for 3 years at WSU in the Energy Systems Innovation Center in the College of Electrical Engineering. Heather later joined the Office of Outreach and Education, coordinating the Cultural and Heritage Houses while working on her degree in Gerontology.
