Bio: As the Fiscal Specialist for the Office of Equity and Diversity, it is my job to provide fiscal and administrative support for Diversity Education and the Culture and Heritage Houses and controlling program operations, including the allocation of resources to meet program related needs. I come from a long line of people raised in the Latah County area and have two kids, one grandson and one on the way. After making a living as a hair designer for 15+ years, I was really seeking a career change. After working at the U of I for 5 years in the Undergraduate Admissions Office, and a 7 year span of running an in-home childcare center, I came to work at WSU in the Energy Systems Innovation Center in the College of Electrical Engineering. After a 3 year span, I made the move over the Office of Equity and Diversity as their new Fiscal Specialist while working on my degree in Gerontology.
